We are seeking a
Service Representative to join our team in Malaysia. In this customer-facing role, you will act as the primary point of contact between Rolls-Royce and our airline customers, providing 24/7 operational support, driving timely resolution of issues, and ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction. You will build strong working relationships, identify business opportunities, and represent Rolls-Royce's position confidently in diverse operational environments.
What You Will Be Doing
- Provide 24/7 customer support, ensuring timely resolution of operational and technical issues through the appropriate IT systems and communication channels.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships at all levels to support effective communication and feedback loops.
- Collect and analyze customer operational data to identify trends, potential issues, and opportunities for proactive management.
- Monitor warranties, guarantees, and airline debt, escalating significant trends as required.
- Provide inputs on customer business forecasts, fleet plans, and shop visit schedules.
- Identify and promote product and service sales opportunities, supporting Rolls-Royce's growth objectives.
- Represent the Rolls-Royce position with professionalism and resilience, including in challenging discussions with customers.
- Support new product introduction, ensuring customer readiness and successful integration into their operations.
- Uphold Rolls-Royce's strategy, business values, and commitment to customer excellence.
Position Requirements
- Degree-qualified in a relevant discipline (Engineering, Aviation, or related) or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within aerospace or a related technical services industry.
- Strong technical and/or services background, preferably with working knowledge of gas turbines, aircraft engine operation, and airline line maintenance practices/regulations.
- Good business acumen with the ability to identify opportunities and navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- IT literate, with the ability to use data systems for communication, reporting, and analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to present clearly, influence effectively, and build trust across cultures.
- Highly organized with strong planning and prioritization skills to ensure on-time delivery of commitments.
- Culturally aware, with the ability to operate effectively in a global business environment.
