Position Overview

We are seeking a driven and customerfocused Service Sales Engineer to support our service business portfolio, grow service contract revenue, and provide technical solutions to customers. This role combines technical knowledge, sales capability, and strong relationship management to deliver value-added services and long-term customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy & Business Growth
  • Plan, implement, and monitor sales strategies to achieve targeted service sales revenue.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across various customer segments.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients to enhance repeat business and customer loyalty.
  • Market & Customer Insights
  • Analyse and evaluate market trends, customer needs, and competitive conditions.
  • Prepare and present timely reports, forecasts, and recommendations to Management.
  • Customer Engagement & Technical Support
  • Conduct customer visits to understand service needs and propose suitable solutions.
  • Liaise with principals on sales, service, and technical matters to ensure accurate and reliable support.
  • Arrange and conduct product/service demonstrations, technical presentations, and solution briefings for potential customers.
  • Evaluate customer requirements and recommend appropriate applications from the company's service and product portfolio.
  • Service Contracts Management
  • Present and discuss service contract options with clients, highlighting benefits, coverage, and value.
  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and renewal conditions to ensure service contract continuity.
  • Monitor and manage the full cycle of service contract sales and renewals to achieve revenue targets.
  • Internal Collaboration
  • Work closely with coordinators, service engineers, and technicians to ensure timely execution of service jobs and customer support.
  • Provide field feedback to enhance service quality and support continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related technical field.
  • Minimum 25 years of experience in service sales, technical sales, or engineering services.
  • Experience in managing service contracts, renewals, and customer accounts is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into customer-focused solutions.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships.
  • Willingness to travel for customer visits and site engagements.
