Job Description

Job Summary

The Service Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the service team, ensuring efficient maintenance, repair, and technical support for Zoomlion machinery and equipment. The role involves supervising service technicians, coordinating field service activities, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining high service quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities Service Supervisor

1. Customer Service Management

  • Maintain strong relationships with customers and provide professional service support.
  • Respond promptly to service requests and complaints.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality.

2. Reporting and Documentation

  • Prepare service reports, maintenance records, and job completion documentation.
  • Monitor service KPIs and report performance to management.
  • Track spare parts usage and coordinate with the parts department.

3. Service Operations Management

  • Supervise and manage service teams for daily operations.
  • Coordinate and monitor different product groups for service tasks.
  • Oversee the usage of common service assets and tools.
  • Ensure service jobs are completed efficiently and meet company standards.
  • Support service staff development through performance evaluations and training.

4. Equipment Management

  • Supervise and manage company equipment, including quantity, location, and placement.
  • Develop and implement localized equipment management policies and procedures.
  • Regularly communicate with different product service teams to update equipment maintenance and display requirements.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse or parts department for parts availability.

5. Technical Support

  • Diagnose complex equipment issues and provide technical solutions.
  • Assist technicians with troubleshooting cranes, construction machinery, and heavy equipment.
  • Liaise with technical support teams or headquarters for advanced problem resolution.

6. Inventory and Resource Management

  • Manage service tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of service vehicles, tools, and equipment.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Heavy Equipment Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years experience in heavy equipment service or maintenance.
  • Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in construction machinery.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lead teams and manage field operations.
