Albert Wines & Spirits is one of Malaysia's leading distributors of premium wines, spirits, and imported beers. As our draught beer program, event activations, and beverage equipment services grow, we are expanding our technical team.

We are seeking a Field Service Technician (Draft Beer & Beverage Systems) to maintain, install, and service our draught beer equipment, gas systems, and beverage dispensing units. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations for client outlets, events, and internal inventory management.

Position Overview

The Field Service Technician will handle all technical responsibilities related to draught beer and beverage dispensing equipment. This includes equipment servicing, maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, gas handling, and preparation for events or client activations.

You will also oversee the storage, upkeep, and readiness of all company-owned machines to ensure smooth deployment at any time.

Key Responsibilities

Draught System Installation & Servicing

  • Install, maintain, and service draft beer dispensers, chillers, taps, keg couplers, lines, and CO/N gas systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair issues related to beer flow, cooling, pressure, leaks, and beverage quality.
  • Conduct routine cleaning, sanitization, and flushing of beer lines and equipment.

Equipment Management & Inventory

  • Maintain a structured inventory of dispensers, gas tanks, regulators, hoses, and accessories.
  • Ensure all equipment is properly stored, serviced, and ready for deployment.
  • Track equipment movement and schedule regular preventive maintenance.

Event Support & On-Site Activation

  • Prepare, deliver, install, and operate draft beer systems for events, tasting sessions, and festivals.
  • Provide on-site technical support to ensure stable beer flow and machine performance.
  • Coordinate with the events and sales teams for smooth setup and takedown.

Gas Handling & Safety

  • Manage CO/N cylinder installations, pressure regulators, and safety protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with safety guidelines for gas storage, transport, and usage.

Client Support & Coordination

  • Assist clients with equipment training and basic troubleshooting.
  • Communicate with Sales, Logistics, and Events teams to coordinate service schedules, delivery timing, and equipment requests.
  • Maintain accurate service logs, job sheets, and client visit reports.

Requirements

  • Experience in servicing draft beer systems, beverage dispensing equipment, or bar/F&B machinery.
  • Basic mechanical or electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to lift and transport equipment (kegs, gas cylinders, dispensers).
  • Responsible, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willing to travel for events, client installations, and servicing assignments.
  • Possess a valid driving license (manual preferred but not mandatory).
  • Major Advantages (Added Value), experience working with Heineken, Carlsberg, Guinness, Tiger, Asahi, or similar equipment.
  • Technical certifications in refrigeration, electrical systems, or food-service equipment. (If any)
