Settlement Manager
Job Description
To cope with our business growth, we are looking for a Settlement Manager (Night Shift) to join our Kuala Lumpur team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and preparing financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, and conducting cyclical audits
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operational in settlement.
- Manage settlement payments and receipts, daily/monthly summary report and position reconciliation.
- Formulate, review, and update internal procedures and guidelines to improve operational efficiency and mitigate operational risk.
- Proactively review and streamline the operational workflow.
- Coordinate and liaise with internal and external parties including fund accountant, transfer agents, auditors etc.
- Supervise team members in settlement team.
- Perform ad-hoc assignments and projects if necessary.
- Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping financial information confidential.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in using online banking is a must.
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Good communicator, highly self-motivated, attention to details and team player.
- Proficient in MS Office applications
Other Skills
- Able to work under pressure, multi-task and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in both spoken and written English. Proficiency in spoken Chinese Mandarin is a plus.
- Proficiency in excel and other windows-based software.
