Shipping And Logistics Executive

Our client trades in petrochemical polyolefins and seeks a skilled Shipping and Logistics Coordinator to manage daily shipping operations, documentation, and coordination with freight forwarders and suppliers.

Job Summary

You will coordinate end-to-end shipping logistics and documentation, liaise with freight forwarders and suppliers, and monitor shipment schedules to ensure timely and accurate delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full spectrum of shipping logistics and documentation to support smooth operations
• Liaise with freight forwarders and suppliers to coordinate shipment details and resolve issues
• Monitor and track shipment bookings, transit status, and delivery schedules to ensure timely arrivals
• Perform accurate data entry and maintain procedural records of shipment schedules, quotes, and bills
• Use Microsoft Office tools including Excel and PowerPoint to prepare reports and presentations
• Apply problem-solving skills to identify and resolve shipping and logistics challenges with attention to detail

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a relevant field
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in shipping and logistics operations

• Knowledge of import/export regulations or shipping environment preferred

Other Information

• Location: Ubi, Singapore
• Salary: Up to S$3500, negotiable based on experience
• Work week: Monday to Friday
