Coordinate and manage import and export shipments (air, sea, and land) for assigned countries
Prepare and verify shipping documentation including: Bill of Lading (B/L), Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, Import/Export permits
Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers to ensure smooth cargo movement
Ensure compliance with customs regulations and trade laws in Malaysia, Singapore, and Hong Kong
Monitor shipment schedules and proactively resolve delays, discrepancies, or clearance issues
Track shipments and provide timely updates to internal teams and customers
Manage duty, tax calculations, and ensure accurate tariff classification (HS codes)
Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams for cargo receiving and dispatch
Maintain proper records of shipping documents and transactions for audit purposes
Support cost optimization by negotiating freight rates and reviewing logistics expenses
Handle claims related to damaged or lost shipments when necessary
Provide tailored logistics solutions to internal stakeholders for case-specific requirements
Manage and assess vendor performance through regular KPI monitoring
Reconcile vendor invoices and coordinate with Finance for payment processing
Plan shipment consolidations at origin in coordination with Logistics Service Providers (LSPs)
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum 2–4 years of experience in shipping, freight forwarding, or import/export operations
Strong knowledge of customs procedures in Malaysia, Singapore, and Hong Kong
Familiarity with Incoterms and international trade compliance
Experience with shipping documentation and ERP/logistics systems
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Good communication and coordination skills with regional stakeholders
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
