Job Description

The Senior Shopper Marketing Manager is responsible for three main pillars includes identifying category growth opportunities, converting brands priorities into category plans and execution frameworks to deliver sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute innovative shopper marketing strategies that drive sales and brand awareness and visibility in-store.
  • Initiate Category growth opportunity and own end-to-end priority projects in specific Category.
  • Manage Category priority, activity grid and new product listing with execution excellence.
  • Analyze customer and shopper data and insight and turn it into actionable strategies.
  • Manage and proactively review execution metrics to ensure budgets are utilized at best efficiency of ROI.
  • Monitor and manage investment within allotted shopper marketing budget.
  • Collaborate with team and retail establishment on strategic partnership planning such as JBP, Category health check, Business review.

Core competencies required for this role:

  • Strategic thinker with experience creating comprehensive Category plans.
  • Strong end-to-end execution from marketing strategy to in-store execution.
  • Outstanding communication and problem-solving skills/ team player.
  • Good relationship builder among multi departments.

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum 6-8 years experience in trade/shopper marketing.
  • Competent in Retail Audit / Egg (Dunhumby) / Kantar / Winsight.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to develop strategies, tactics and measurable implementation.
  • Results-oriented, tenacious and resilient, self-motivating and driven to achieve even when faced with obstacles.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, both written and oral (in English) with at least one other language preferred.
  • Computer literacy in MS Office.

  • Proven ability to translate complex consumer insights into compelling shopper marketing strategies that drive measurable results.
  • Strong proficiency in data analytics tools and shopper behavior research methodologies to inform innovative marketing decisions.
  • Proven experience in coordinating trade shows, conferences, and promotional events.
  • Proficiency in market research methodologies and data analysis tools.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and report-writing capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to effectively partner with diverse teams and external stakeholders.
  • A passion for retail innovation and a keen eye for emerging trends that can be leveraged to enhance shopper engagement.
