Job description:
1. Site Inspection and Reporting
- Conduct preliminary inspections at potential construction sites.
- Gather data and write site reports
2. Health, Safety, and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations.
3. Collaboration and Coordination
- Collaborate with subcontractors, clients, crews, and consultants.
- Coordinate joint measurement activities.
- Coordinate with contractors and sub-contractors for work arrangement and forward planning.
- Organize and participate in meetings with contractors at regular intervals.
4. Technical Advice and Problem Solving
- Provide technical advice and diagnose technical difficulties.
- Solve problems encountered at the site as soundly and promptly as possible
5. Project Planning and Progress Monitoring
- Assist in work arrangement on site, especially planning the project sequences and coordinating all phases of the project.
- Monitor and update work progress, take necessary action to expedite the work.
- Follow through project on scheduled timeline, sequences and coordinate all phases of the project.
- Liaising with the client and local authorities to understand the needs and requirements.
- To assist in monitoring the site activities to ensure the outcome of the products are fulfilled requirement.
- To assist in supervises project schedule and also the development and requisite on-site material flow.
- To ensure the goals, policies and procedures for the project are achieved from time to time
6. Documentation and Reporting
- Complete and submit meeting minutes and progress reports for projects.
- Produce various reports as required.
- Assisting in the production of Monthly Claim.
Job requirements:
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Have 2-3 years of working experience in construction site, preferably in the infrastructure/earthworks industry.
- Applicants must be willing to travel to outstations if required
