Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate hardscape works (paving, retaining walls, water features, drainage) and softscape works (planting, soil preparation, turfing).
- Monitor and manage day-to-day site activities to ensure adherence to construction drawings, specifications, and schedules.
- Inspect and ensure quality of workmanship and materials used.
- Oversee installation of landscape elements
- Liaise with project managers, consultants, and clients to communicate progress, challenges, and resolutions.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and installation of materials.
- Attend site meetings and ensure effective follow-up of issues raised.
- Ensure all activities comply with company safety regulations and statutory health & safety requirements.
- Conduct daily toolbox meetings and enforce safe work practices on-site.
- Maintain accurate site records including work progress, manpower deployment, material deliveries, and site photos.
- Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and submit to project management.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Landscape Architecture
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant site supervision experience in landscape / construction (hardscape & softscape).
- Proven experience in managing both structural and planting works in landscape projects.
- Strong knowledge of landscape construction methods, materials, and horticulture.
- Ability to read and interpret construction and landscape drawings.
- Leadership and team coordination skills.
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Computer literacy (MS Office, AutoCAD or similar).
