Job Description & Requirements
Responsibilities:
SITE SUPPORT ENGINEER
- Work with and assist Project Management team to perform the work in a timely manner with strict adherence to quality and safety
- Provide assistance and coordination with subcontractors to ensure schedules are met
- Attend site meetings together with Project Manager as per agreed frequency
- Ensure professional approach consistently throughout the duration of the project
MEETINGS
- Attend and participate in Client kick-off meetings for assigned projects
- Attend and update internal meetings for assigned projects
- Attend pre-construction meetings with Business Development and Operations team for assigned projects on case by case basis
- Attend Client project update meetings for assigned projects as per agreed frequency
PROJECT RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the project manager to verify subcontractor proposals for assigned projects during the award stage and ensure that such proposals are not open ended
- Help to work in a smart manner to control costs
- Strict Compliance to key legal obligations
- Follow up on project and flag if there is any issue with keeping to schedule
- Understand Project cost and budget management
- Follow up on defect rectification progress, particularly during the handover stage
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and submit assigned project documentation to project manger
- Submit assigned project progress report to Project Manager
Requirements
The successful candidate must be able to meet the following:
- Must be able to manage more than one project concurrently as and when required
- Good Interpersonal and Communication Skills
- Have a customer focused mindset
- Able to meet demanding schedule requirements
- Must be able to work with assigned team
- Able to speak in Tamil with other construction team members will be an advantage
