Overview
The Site IT Specialist will be responsible for managing and supporting IT operations for the Malaysia site. This role ensures the smooth functioning of IT services.
Key Responsibilities
lEnd-User Support
lProvide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
lProvide second-line, in-person support for end users if necessary.
lUpgrade client antivirus software and security patches.
lTroubleshoot client PC hardware issues.
lTroubleshoot client application software issues.
lMaintain printers and scanners.
lMaintain other peripheral devices.
lPerform system upgrades for client PCs and laptops.
lHandle user calls, keep proper call records, and, within the scope of the clients authorization, resolve IT-related incidents, problems, and user complaints.
Required Skills and Experience
lDiploma or bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
l2+ years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
lKnowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks.
lProblem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
lStrong communication skills in both English and Malay.
lAbility to prioritize tasks, work independently, and collaborate as part of a team.
lProven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously under pressure.
