Site Reliability Engineer/ Big Data Production Support

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 24x7 production support for Big Data platforms and data pipelines.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain data environments, dashboards, and infrastructure.
• Support data loading and processing using Spark.
• Manage incidents, problems, changes, and service requests following ITIL processes.
• Configure and maintain alerts, monitoring, and observability tools from an SRE perspective.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to resolve production issues.

Mandatory Skills

• Big Data ecosystem knowledge.
• Distributed storage platforms: MINIO, ADLS (S3), Iceberg Tables.
• Linux Shell Scripting.
• Apache Spark support and troubleshooting.
• Kubernetes and Secrets Management.
• Workflow schedulers such as Apache Airflow.
• Monitoring and dashboard tools such as Grafana.
• Experience in Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps (ADO) and ServiceNow (SNOW).

Preferred Skills

• High-severity incident and situation management.
• Production support in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Team mentoring and technical coaching.
