Site Safety Supervisor, Bersia

1. Monitor and supervise site safety activities to ensure compliance with approved safety procedures, project requirements and applicable regulations.
2. Conduct daily site inspections, safety briefings and toolbox meetings, and promptly highlight unsafe acts, conditions and potential hazards.
3. Ensure contractors and site personnel comply with PPE requirements, permit-to-work procedures and safe work practices.
4. Assist in incident reporting, investigation and implementation of corrective and preventive actions to maintain a safe working environment.
5. Maintain proper safety records, inspection reports, checklists and documentation, and provide regular updates to the project team.

Job Requirements

1. Minimum Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering or a related discipline.
2. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in site safety supervision, preferably within hydroelectric, power generation, engineering, infrastructure or similar project environments.
3. Possess a valid Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) certification/competency recognised by the relevant Malaysian authority.
4. Good knowledge of workplace safety requirements, hazard identification, risk assessment, permit-to-work and incident reporting.
5. Willing to be based at the project site in Bersia, Gerik, Perak, and work according to project and site requirements.
