Site Safety Supervisor

Job Description

1. Monitor daily site activities and ensure compliance with safety requirements, procedures and applicable regulations.
2. Conduct regular site inspections, identify hazards and unsafe practices, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
3. Conduct toolbox briefings and ensure workers/subcontractors comply with PPE and site safety requirements.
4. Maintain required safety documentation, incident reports, inspection records and HIRARC, and assist in accident/incident investigations.
5. Possess relevant Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) competency/registration with DOSH, with at least 2 years of relevant construction/project site safety experience.

Job Requirements

1. Diploma/Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, Construction or related field.
2. Registered/recognized Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) with DOSH, with relevant competency certification.
3. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in construction, infrastructure or project site safety.
4. Good knowledge of HIRARC, Permit to Work (PTW), PPE, toolbox meetings, incident reporting and site inspections.
5. Strong communication, reporting and coordination skills, with the ability to enforce safety requirements among workers and subcontractors.
