We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Site Safety Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold a valid Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) certificate from National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) and will be responsible for overseeing and enforcing safety protocols at both our work sites and office premises.
Key Responsibilities Site Safety Supervision:
Conduct regular safety inspections at work sites and office locations to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Monitor and enforce the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all personnel.
Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in alignment with regulatory requirements.
Conduct safety training sessions for employees to enhance awareness and compliance.
Investigate and report incidents, accidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions.
Collaborate with project managers and department heads to address safety concerns specific to each work area.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of safety regulations and industry best practices.
Ensure that all safety equipment is properly maintained and readily available.
Conduct emergency response drills and provide training on emergency procedures.
Compile and maintain accurate safety records and reports.
Execute any ad-hoc task as per assigned by the management team.
Key Responsibilities Site Supervision:
On-site management of sub-contractors.
Direct supervision of site works with ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
Communicate plans and ensure timeline is met.
Conduct site evaluation of the project installation, and report status and issues to respective project manager/engineer.
Daily progress monitoring and make sure daily work activities are recorded.
Check and verify installation matches design drawings and raise non-conformances.
Conduct pre-commissioning checks.
Execute any ad-hoc task as per assigned by the management team.
Qualifications:
SSS certificate from NIOSH.
Proven experience as a Safety Supervisor or similar role.
In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
Strong communication and training skills.
Ability to conduct thorough safety inspections and risk assessments.
Possessed computer literacy to carry out regular reporting.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
