Job responsibilities:
- Drive new business acquisition by proactively identifying, engaging, and securing new SME lending relationships.
- Prepare comprehensive credit propositions through our Program Platform for new-to-bank clients, ensuring that all key risks are clearly articulated and appropriately mitigated prior to submission to Credit Risk.
- Collaborate closely with product partners to deliver holistic banking solutions that meet clients financial and operational needs.
- Structure banking facilities in full compliance with the bank's credit and lending policies, ensuring sound credit practices.
- Safeguard the bank's asset quality through prudent credit assessment, facility structuring, and ongoing monitoring.
- Follow through diligently with clients to ensure acceptance of approved facilities and timely drawdown of banking lines.
Account Management
- Monitor clients facility utilization to ensure optimal usage and identify potential early warning signals.
- Handle ad-hoc client requests promptly and efficiently to support ongoing banking needs.
- Evaluate and process applications for additional credit facilities, ensuring compliance with credit and lending policies.
- Maintain regular client engagement, including site visits and discussions, to strengthen relationships and understand business developments.
- Identify and drive crossselling opportunities across the bank's suite of products and services.
- Achieve business targets aligned with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and contribute to overall business goals.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma holder, preferably with at least 2 years of sales experience.
- Candidates without banking sales experience and fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
- Knowledge or experience in Banking and Financial Services is an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of financial accounting, with solid analytical skills in financial statement assessment and cash flow analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
- Strong inclination toward a sales-driven environment and achieving business results.
- Good communication and negotiation skills, with proficiency in English; ability to speak local dialects is an added advantage.
