Job Description

Strategy & Planning

  • Partners with HR specialists and work with business / functional unit management on the business/ functional unit's HR related strategies and plans such as unit restructuring, organization design, manpower planning and succession planning
  • Proactively analyses HR related trends and metrics of the business/ functional unit in partnership with the HR specialists to develop and deliver solutions, programs and policies.
  • Works closely with management of the business/ functional unit & employees to assist in improving work relationships, build morale and increase productivity & retention.

HR Advisory & Support

  • Provides and supports consistent interpretation and application of HR policies, procedures and guidelines relating to HR services, processes and program
  • Provides appropriate advice, guidance and support to business/ functional unit on all HR areas such as talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, engagement, change management talent management and succession planning.
  • Advices business on all promotion, application of rewards, compensation and any salary related matters to ensure reflection of competencies, potential and comparability with like roles across the business/ functional unit and Group in line with organization's aspiration of high performance culture.
  • Consults with management on issues affecting morale, performance development and organization effectiveness, helping determine root causes and recommending appropriate next steps.
  • Provides day-to-day guidance to business on people management (eg coaching, counselling, career development, disciplinary actions) using RHB s policies, procedures and best practice.
  • Supports and coach line managers in relation to their approach and consideration of people issues ensuring that they understand the impact of these on the individual and the business
  • Acts as Change Agent in managing organizational change where this relates to HR activities such as restructuring, voluntary exit schemes, implementation of new compensation and reward structures and HR systems and process
  • Partners with HR specialist and key stakeholders within assigned business/ functional units to appropriately communicate, deliver and actively manage the implementation of proactive HR solutions, plans, projects and initiatives to meet business needs
  • Provide supervisory day-today assistance, guidance, coaching and relevant development to the HRBPs to enhanced their level of competency in their area of responsibility.
  • Carrying out such other duties as may be reasonably requested by Management
