Job Description

Position Overview:

Mnemonic, a digital marketing agency specializing in producing video and graphics for SMEs, is seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Content Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, editing, and managing engaging content for our social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent writing skills, and a deep understanding of social media trends and analytics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Content Creation: Develop and edit compelling content for social media posts, including text, images, videos, and graphics.
Editorial Oversight: Ensure all social media content is consistent with Mnemonics clients brand voice, style, and messaging.
Strategy Development: Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement social media strategies that align with overall business goals.Trend Analysis: Stay updated with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to enhance Mnemonics online presence.
  • Engagement: Monitor and respond to audience comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.
Analytics and Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on social media performance using various analytics tools to measure the success of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
Collaboration: Work closely with graphic designers, motion graphics creators, and other team members to produce high-quality content.Campaign Management: Plan and execute social media campaigns, promotions, and contests to drive engagement and growth.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Diploma in Graphic Design, Communications, Journalism,Film or a related field.
Experience: Entry-level position; internships or relevant experience in social media content creation and editing is a plus.
Skills: Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Canva).
Basic knowledge of graphic design and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret social media metrics and analytics.
