Job Summary
As a Social Media Intern, you will support the social media and marketing team in building a strong online presence. This internship offers you the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media management and content creation, while learning how to engage with online communities, track social media performances, and contribute to brand awareness campaigns. You'll work closely with various teams and learn how social media supports broader brand-building goals in the fast-paced e-Wallet and fintech industry.
Job Requirements:
- Undergoing a Degree in Business, Marketing, Digital Media, Social Sciences or any related field.
- Showcase strong creativity, typography, and layout skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva or other design tools are an advantage.
- Basic knowledge and eagerness in marketing, social media & content management, and digital marketing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).
- A winning attitude, positive & curious mindset with eagerness to learn and explore.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Tasks:
- Assist in scheduling and uploading social media content across platforms of all Boost entities (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn).
- Help monitor social media platforms for trending news, feedback, and engagement opportunities.
- Track and log key hashtags, mentions, and comments for reporting and analysis.
Weekly Tasks:
- Engage with stakeholders & participate in brainstorming sessions to plan engaging content ideas and campaigns.
- Assist in developing content calendars and drafting captions aligned with Boost's tone of voice.
- Help prepare weekly sentiment reports and suggest content improvements.
Monthly Tasks:
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand upcoming product launches and support in creating pre/post launch content.
- Contribute ideas to monthly planning meetings on how to improve engagement and follower growth.
- Learn and help apply brand guidelines across social content and visuals.
