Assist in managing social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Threads and Facebook
Support the development and production of long-form video series, webisodes and episodic content, by developing content concepts, scripts and storyboards based on creative briefs
Assist throughout the pre-production and production process, including basic producing, props development and handling, as well as camera, lighting and sound support
Assist with video editing from offline edits to final online edits, including subtitles, transitions, music, basic effects and formatting using CapCut Premium on mobile or desktop, or other easy-to-use editing software
Write social media copy in English and Bahasa Melayu, with clear and effective calls to action
Ensure content is scheduled and published on time, with relevant collaboration approvals and boosting arranged when required
Support day-to-day social media administration, including request management, Linktree housekeeping, content organisation and preparing social media insights/reports
Stay up to date with social media trends, formats, creators and emerging content opportunities
Assist with other social media and content-related tasks when required

Requirements

Currently pursuing a Diploma/Degree in Mass Communication, Digital Media, Film, Multimedia, Advertising, Marketing or a related field
Passionate about social media, video content and digital community engagement
Comfortable creating and editing videos using CapCut Premium on mobile or desktop, or other easy-to-use editing software. Advanced editing experience is not required, but a good eye for pacing, storytelling and visual details is a plus
Familiar with TikTok, Instagram, Threads and Facebook, including their key platform features, Business Suite and basic ad boosting functions
Good command of English and Bahasa Melayu, with the ability to write in both formal and colloquial styles. Other languages are a plus
Comfortable learning and experimenting with AI tools for content creation. Familiarity with new tools such as Suno is a plus
Comfortable being in front of the camera, with good presentation, hosting or basic acting skills
A good sense of humour and understanding of Malaysian internet culture, trends and colloquial language would be an advantage
Organised and able to manage both creative work and day-to-day administrative tasks
Able to work in a team while still able to work independently
A portfolio or examples of previous video or social media work is a plus
