About your new role!
As a
Social Strategy Analyts at GrowthOps, you will support the Celcom Digi strategy team in delivering data-driven insights, social listening, and performance reporting for key clients. This role focuses on turning social and digital data into clear narratives that inform content strategy, campaign performance, and business decisions.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Monitoring social postings performance and conducting bi-weekly, and PCR monthly for social media reporting across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, YouTube).
- Maintaining data integrity by validating, cleaning, and cross-checking data across platforms to ensure accurate and reliable reporting.
- Analyze performance metrics (reach, engagement rate, views, sentiment, share of voice) and translate into actionable insights.
- Assist in social listening clean up and monitoring using tools such as Emplifi, Digimind, or similar platforms to extract data.
- Conduct bi-weekly and monthly competitive analyses to track rival activities, extract insights for content optimization, and flag opportunities/threats in the industry
- Assist in building and maintaining social benchmarks - Track KPIs like ER% by format, reach/impressions, content-type engagement, and growth rates; update frameworks quarterly.
- Ability to present research findings clearly and effectively to stakeholders consistently.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across reporting decks and excel trackers or dashboards are updated critically.
- Support strategy/social team in developing content recommendations (what worked, why, and what's next).
- Collaborate closely with social teams to align on campaign performance and insights.
- Prepare clear, concise presentation slides for internal and client-facing meetings.
- Conduct research on platform trends, consumer behavior, and emerging digital opportunities.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and derive insights. Deeply analytical mind with an aptitude for data.
- Good understanding of social media platforms and content performance metrics.
- Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets and PowerPoint.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage data accurately.
- Strong communication, written and storytelling skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work effectively under pressure.
- Fast learner, curious and proactive mindset towards learning trends and tools.
- Good time management and organization skills with the report cadences and handling multiple timelines of Celcom Digi account
- Ability to work with cross functional teams and multiple stakeholders.
- Independent thinker and has ownership and accountability
Requirements
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Data Analytics, or related field.
- Internship or 0–2 years experience in social media, digital marketing, or analytics.
- Familiarity with social listening or analytics tools is a plus (e.g. Emplifi and Digimind)
- Strong interest in social media trends and digital content.
Measure of success
- Accuracy and quality of reporting outputs
- Ability to generate clear, actionable insights based on the data
- Meeting timelines of reporting deadlines
- Contribution to team strategy and client report deliverables
- Have client testimonies to show for, across the reports managed, that shows curiosity on the client's business pays.
