Key Responsibilities:
- Gather requirements from end users and carry out technical analysis
- Develop and support automation relying on technologies such as Python/Powershell
- Support and enhance team operational workflow with new technologies and automation
- Implement correct, performant, tested and reliable code on schedule and according to specification
- Conduct full test on all automations developed before passing on to end users
- Provide technical assistance and work closely with end users
- Participate in R&D to meet company's fast and growing business needs
- Participate in various projects involving different business units globally
- Continuously improve automation and all underlying infrastructure
- Assist in monitoring and supporting the operation via different metrics and automated alerts
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
- Minimum 1-2 year of experience in software development / scripting
- Solid experience and high interest in programming using Python
- Experience in MySQL
- Experience in Excel spreadsheets
- Experience in web related / markup technology such as HTML, XML, XPATH, web services, javascript, RESTAPI
- Experience in Powershell or other scripting technology
- Knowledge in data quality assurance processes will be highly valued
- Effective both verbally & written skills in English
- Good analytical & problem-solving skills
Added advantage with experience on:
- Source Control tool GIT and Bitbucket Repository
- Development environment such as Pycharm, Microsoft Visual Studio, Eclipse and/or Netbeans
- Web scraping technology such as Selenium / other related technology
- SharePoint
- AWS and its related services
