Software Developer (RPA-Automation Anywhere)

The Role

Are you an experienced automation specialist ready to take the lead on enterprise-scale RPA projects In this 6-month onsite contract at Menara CIMB, you will guide the end-to-end delivery of RPA solutions for a client in the financial sector, from solution design and development to testing, deployment and long-term sustainment. You will work closely with business process owners, project managers and business analysts, while mentoring a team of junior developers.

What You'll Do

• Work with business process owners and junior developers to analyse and design process workflows, then build, test and implement RPA solutions

• Support business case construction and opportunity identification to drive wider RPA adoption across the organisation

• Set up the initial infrastructure for development, test and production environments, and explore server and other RPA deployment options

• Align the Centre of Excellence (CoE) and stakeholders on best practices, and define and enforce coding standards and guidelines

• Develop solutions from signed-off Process Design Documents, splitting work into components and assigning them to junior developers

• Identify reusable components and manage configurable parameters, queues and robot schedules to optimise cost and runtime

• Mentor junior developers, conduct timely code reviews and audits, maintain project documentation and monitor deployed solutions

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field, and/or relevant professional certificate(s)

• 8 to 10 years of overall working experience

• 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience using Automation Anywhere

• Proven ability to design, develop, test and deploy RPA solutions

• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills, with a keen eye for quality through code review

• Confident communicator who can collaborate with business analysts, project managers and stakeholders and mentor junior team members
