Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Developer with strong expertise in AS/400 COBOL 400 to design, build, and configure applications that meet business process and application requirements. The role requires independent execution, subject matter expertise, and active participation in team discussions while providing effective solutions to work-related challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and configure applications based on business and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for application development.
• Implement coding best practices to ensure performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Conduct comprehensive testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to deliver high-quality applications.
• Provide training and support to team members and stakeholders on application functionalities.
• Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and technologies to enhance development processes.
• Actively contribute in team discussions and provide solutions to technical and process-related challenges.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Expert proficiency in AS/400 COBOL 400.
• Beginner-level knowledge of Cross Border Payments (preferred).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to financial services or banking domain.
• Knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and application deployment processes.
• Ability to act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in AS/400 COBOL.
