As the Software Development Manager, Your goal / purpose will be to lead multiple multi-disciplinary teams and will be dJM's main point of contact in the KL office. You'll lead the recruitment to expand our KL office to a team of 30, hiring the best talent to deliver our digital ambitions. You'll also providing technical leadership and oversight to ensure your team is well supported.

Your responsibilities:
- Working with the Head of Digital and Applications Development Manager you will nurture, develop, and hire a high performing engineering organisation.
- You'll build, coach and work in an agile team. You'll work to bring out the best behaviors in your extended and immediate team.
- You will work with the product teams to make sure an open and honest communication culture exists in a high trust environment.
- You'll be a technical point of contact, providing advice to project teams and engineers.
Requirements for the role:
- You'll be a product minded engineer and will put the end user at the heart of the products you build.
- You'll have worked as a technical lead or senior developer before.
- We use Azure, GitHub, GitHub Actions, C#, TypeScript and React. You'll be leading engineers and building a team around these technologies, you should be able to help coach and advise others in a few of these areas.
- You'll understand all the components in a modern distributed cloud hosted software solution even if you're not an expert in them!
- You'll have the ability to influence, present and share key updates with the board, management, your team, and user audiences in numerous ways.
