Software Engineer (C++), Klang

Role Description The Software Engineer (C++), role is a full-time, on-site position responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining POS system that support Parkson's retail. The engineer will write efficient, reliable C++ code, implement object-oriented designs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate back-end services with existing platforms. Day-to-day tasks include participating in requirements analysis, coding and unit testing, debugging and performance optimization, and preparing technical documentation. The role also involves working closely with other engineers and stakeholders in Kelang to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with business needs.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.
• Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), with hands-on experience in C++ development.
• Practical experience in Software Development, including coding, testing, debugging, and maintaining applications.
• Exposure to Back-End Web Development, APIs, and integration with databases or microservices is an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
