As a Software Engineer II at FINEXUS International Sdn Bhd, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications and systems. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business and customer needs. You will report to the Senior Manager and will have the opportunity to work on several projects:
Job Responsibilities:
Software Development:
- Design, code, test, and debug software applications and components.
- Develop software solutions that are efficient, reliable, and maintainable.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies.
Software Documentation:
- Create and maintain documentation for software architecture, design, and code.
- Keep documentation up to date with changes and improvements in the software.
Problem Solving:
- Analyze and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.
- Troubleshoot and provide technical support for software applications.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand project requirements and contribute to the product development process.
- Collaborate with team members on code reviews and knowledge sharing.
Security:
- Follow best practices for software security to protect against vulnerabilities and threats.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Preferably at least 2 years of related working experience.
- Added advantage if have working experience as a Full stack developer
- Proficiency in Programming languages: Java,
- Added advantage if the candidate knows MariaDB, MySQL, JavaScript, and Playwright.
- Proficiency in Web Development: HTML5, JavaScript
- Proficiency in Databases: SQL (MySQL, ORACLE, MariaDB)
- Additional advantageous competencies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Bitbucket, APIs, and Microservices Architecture
- Good communication skills in English language for both spoken and written
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with relevant technologies, frameworks, and libraries.
