Software Engineer (Semicon Industry)

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance existing software modules and machine applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer and production issues through software fixes (bug fixing).
• Implement engineering change requests and new software features.
• Perform software testing, simulations, and validation on actual equipment.
• Manage software releases using version control and issue tracking tools.
• Prepare and maintain software development and release documentation.
• Provide technical support for R&D projects and customer-related issues.
• Support software installation and beta testing at customer sites (travel required).

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in software development within automation, manufacturing, industrial equipment, machinery, or semiconductor-related industries.
• Experience in developing, testing, debugging, and maintaining software applications.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working with machine control systems, automation software, or industrial applications is preferred.
• Familiarity with software development best practices, version control, and Agile methodologies.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for customer support, software deployment, or testing activities.
