Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Software QA Lead with a minimum of 7 years of experience in software quality assurance. As the Software QA Lead, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of QA professionals, designing effective testing strategies, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of QA professionals, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
- Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies and plans to ensure adequate test coverage.
- Collaborate closely with development teams, product managers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and define test objectives.
- Design and execute manual and automated test cases to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Track and prioritize defects using bug tracking systems, and work collaboratively with developers to ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in software quality assurance and testing methodologies.
- Continuously improve the QA process by proposing and implementing innovative testing approaches and tools.
- Conduct regular team meetings, provide guidance and support, and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Communicate test progress, results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in software quality assurance, with some experience in a leadership or management role.
- Strong knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Proficiency in designing and executing manual and automated test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Familiarity with test management and bug tracking tools.
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with the ability to motivate and mentor team members.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
