Make an impact

The Software Solution Specialist will act as a subject matter expert for the Swisslog Software Product Suite, providing technical expertise, consultation, and support across sales and design activities. The role requires a combination of technical knowledge, customer engagement, and strong communication skills to deliver software solutions that meet client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for the current Swisslog Software Product Suite, including functionality, operation, and potential customizations.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the Swisslog Controls Product Suite.
  • Deliver comprehensive technical sales support by:
  • Conducting SynQ software demonstrations.
  • Leading software-focused presentations to customers and internal teams.
  • Providing expert consultation during sales and project discussions.
  • Participating in design reviews and solution planning.
  • Preparing budgetary estimates for software implementation.
  • Creating software offerings for budgetary and fixed quote submissions.
  • Lead software requirements gathering workshops with customers.
  • Develop Functional Specifications and Host Interface Specifications.
  • Create and maintain materials for sales support and requirements gathering.
  • Provide requirement management support to sales and software teams.
  • Conduct SynQ training for Sales and System Design teams.

What you need to succeed

  • Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fields.
  • Min 2 years of relevant working experience in software solution architect.
  • Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Comfortable and confident in conducting presentations.
  • Strong analytical, proactive, inquisitive, and self-reliant mindset.
  • Outgoing, friendly, and approachable personality.
  • Experience in requirements gathering.
  • Knowledge of intralogistics and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
