Software Test Engineer (Automation/ Manual)

Job Description

• Develop and execute test cases based on product and software requirements.
• Assist in identifying, troubleshooting, and reporting software defects while collaborating with development and support teams.
• Support the development and maintenance of test automation scripts and tools.
• Participate in software testing activities, including functional, regression, and automation testing.
• Contribute ideas to improve testing processes, efficiency, and automation coverage.
• Take part in test script reviews and team discussions to ensure software quality.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support project execution and delivery.
• Learn and apply Agile and DevOps practices in software development and testing environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of programming or scripting languages such as Python, Java, C#, or C++.
• Familiarity with software development and testing concepts.
• Able to do basic coding.
• Exposure to tools such as GitHub, Bitbucket, Docker, Jenkins, or similar tools is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Eagerness to learn automation testing, software development methodologies, and new technologies.
• Knowledge of Agile, DevOps, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), or Android development is a plus but not mandatory.
