Job Description

Develop and execute test plans and test cases to ensure software quality.
Identify, document, and track software defects to resolution.
Collaborate with software developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Perform regression testing to ensure stability of existing software functionalities.
Automate test cases to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
Analyse test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with software testing standards and best practices.
Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and tools.

The Successful Applicant

A Successful Software Test Engineer (Automation) Should Have

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
At least 4 years of experience in software and/or web application testing.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on test automation experience using Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript.
Strong experience in API testing and REST services validation.
Experience incorporating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, ideally using Azure DevOps, together with Git/version control.
Good understanding of test automation architecture, design principles and best practices.
Hands-on exposure to functional, performance, load and security testing.
Working knowledge of SQL for querying and validating application data.
Experience working within an Agile environment, such as Scrum or Kanban.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
