Software Test Engineer

As a Software Test Engineer based in Kuala Lumpur, you'll be part of our APAC team, working on innovative projects and ensuring the quality of our software products by conducting manual and automated testing of APIs, mobile applications, and websites. You'll collaborate with other teams, solve problems, continue learning, and mentor junior members.

What you'll do:

• Analyse business requirements and translate them into test cases
• Design test plans, prepare test cases, and report bugs
• Conduct manual testing of APIs, mobile applications, and websites
• Develop and execute automated test scripts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize test cases
• Work with developers and stakeholders to reproduce, isolate, and debug issues
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated testing frameworks
• Report and track issues using tools such as Confluence and Jira
• Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the testing process

We'd love you to have:

• 3-5 years of experience in manual and automation testing
• Proficiency in testing APIs, mobile applications, and websites
• Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium or Appium
• Experience with languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java to perform UI and API automation testing
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
