Role Overview

We are seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer (P2 - Intermediate) with 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the excellence of software delivery across multiple simultaneous projects.

Important Note: This role supports clients within the Alcohol Industry. Candidates must be comfortable working within a non-halal environment and handling projects related to this sector.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership: Take a lead role in QA efforts across multiple concurrent projects, including the execution of Unit, System Integration (SIT), User Acceptance (UAT), and Regression testing.

Strategic Integration: Effectively integrate QA engineering and analysis functions into all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Stakeholder Communication: Define and communicate work plans, project status, and potential risks or issues to management and project teams.

Requirements Prioritization: Collaborate closely with project teams to analyze and prioritize requirements to ensure alignment with quality standards.

Quality Assessment: Conduct comprehensive reviews of application development projects to assess their degree of compliance with quality benchmarks.

Usability & Technical Testing: Evaluate new programs, tools, and techniques for acceptability and usability, ensuring they function as documented and providing recommendations for improvement.

Process Standardization: Evaluate existing processes and coordinate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain QA standards, guidelines, and procedures.

Documentation: Create and maintain rigorous documentation for all QA procedures and testing cycles.

Qualifications

Experience: 35 years of solid experience in software quality assurance and testing.

Domain Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the SDLC and process evaluation.

Technical Proficiency: Proven track record in executing various testing methodologies (Manual/Automated) across diverse project environments.

Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
