Solution & Application Engineer (Automation and Control)

Job Description

• Responsible to design and support sales team by developing packaged solutions in term of products or systems
• Play a role of a competence center for Automation and Electrification product portfolio (Servo drives, motion control systems, PLC, IPC, HMI and related engineering software) on the country level
• Technically manage and support sub-contractors in terms of turnkey projects realized by the company
• Prepare and provide update trainings to the solution partners related to the Automation and Electrification product portfolio
• Support existing and new customers to develop wider market share
• Apply technical knowledge to design or customize automation system package to suit customer needs and achieve customer's goal
• Able to prepare and conduct presentations for packaged solutions products/systems to customers
• Handle daily activities to support sales team to create opportunities & leads, quotations, and all other end to end sales activities
• Prepare or carry out any internal duties or assignments from superior

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering
• Minimum Three Years or more with strong technical experience in relevant industry
• Possess good knowledge of industrial automation technology in programming, PLC, HMI, or any programming skills etc
• Proficiency in high level IT programming languages (Python, C++, Java, etc.) will be considered as an advantage
• Understanding of modern industrial automation machine concepts and Industry 4.0 principles.
• Expert knowledge in the field of electrical drive and control technologies
• Having knowledge and experience to draw and design electrical circuit diagram
• Flexible, resilient problem solver with strong assertiveness and persuasion skills, who is enthusiastic about latest technological development changes and ability to leverage those for proposing technical solutions with the team.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, result orientation, and vision on the business impact of the performed activities.
