Solution & Application Engineer (Linear Technology)

Job Description

• Support sales team to deliver technical expertise across the full customer journey from the pre-sales engagement to post-sales support.
• Prepare proposal, technical document and solution concepts such as product selection, sizing, configuration and integration into customer systems.
• Deliver on-site technical support for customers, including troubleshooting and commissioning
• Conduct technical training, demonstrations and workshop to build the competency of business partners, customers and internal associates.
• Coordinate with regional and global engineering team and product management to tailor Linear Technology solutions to customer needs, resolve technical challenges and bring best practices from the wider organization to Malaysian market.
• Showcase Linear Technology products at exhibitions and roadshows, engaging with customers and partners to strengthen market presence.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Mechatronics or related Engineering field.
• Minimum Three Years or more with application engineering, technical support or field service, particularly in Linear Motion Systems would be an added advantage.
• Understanding of modern industrial automation machine concepts and Industry 4.0 principles.
• Flexible, resilient problem solver with strong assertiveness and persuasion skills, who is enthusiastic about latest technological development changes and ability to leverage those for proposing technical solutions with the team.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, result orientation, and vision on the business impact of the performed activities.
• Willingness to travel for on-site customer support, training and exhibitions
