Solution Architect

Help contribute your expertise to building core financial systems that support the financial usage of millions of users across Malaysia. Lend your knowledge and skillsets to help increase the scalability and security for a national level financial platform.

What you will be doing:

• Designing and delivering end-to-end architectures for mission critical financial services (core banking, cards, payments, tokenisation, etc)
• Lead the architecture design for brownfield modernisation (legacy system decomposition, database re-platforming, API-first transformation, etc)
• Translate enterprise grade architectural requirements to technical solutions for financial domain

What we're looking for:

• Experience delivering end-to-end ownership over financial transaction systems or core banking systems
• Knowledge designing payment system security architecture
• Knowledge of distributed system architecture, API design and governance, event-drive and asynchronous messaging patterns
• Deep understanding of security architecture
• Experience working in cloud of hybrid infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) and/or understanding of on prem infrastructure (Mainframe, Cobol, AS400, etc)
• Extensive experience and knowledge of Java

Plus points: 

• Experience or knowledge of mainframe 
• Prior core banking expeirneces or fintech experiences
