Solution Architect

Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, engineering, business, or related field or equivalent experience

Solution / Enterprise Architect certification is preferred e.g. TOGAF & Zachman architectural modeling techniques

10+ years of experience

Finance & Accounting Process knowledge (Accounts Payable/Receivable, Record to Report)

Experience with operations, digital and transformation applications

IT Operations experiences

Experience as solution architect in a client-facing capacity To be a single point of contact (SPOC) as solution lead for the identified domain in engaging stakeholders (Internal to the bank), understanding their requirements, managing their demand and delivering an economically well assessed solution to the business problem in a timely manner.

Lead the analysis of the current business capabilities (enabled through applications), technology environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement. In addition, lead the analysis of technology industry and market trends to determine their potential impact on the enterprise as well as on the technology.

Develop technical solution design and create corresponding cost estimates

Present and discuss solutions with stakeholders

Present technology solution to internal executive approvers

Workstream Design Lead for Operations and Transformation Technology implementation projects

Lead/Contribute to projects to develop new value add assets in the technology space

Oversee and facilitate the research, evaluation and selection of business applications in the identified area of domain.

Document necessary solution architecture design, analysis and costing work

This role will collaborate with business constituents, other EA team members like Business Architect, project teams, infrastructure management team and staff in various IT functional areas (like Infrastructure/Service Management, Application Management, IT Security, etc., ) as needed to fulfill the responsibilities described above.

To participate in the vendor analysis and identification, RFP, vendor evaluation and assessment

Engage with vendor on the matters related to solutioning and project

People Management:

Work with multiple stakeholders; both leadership and subject matter experts, to build a holistic view of the organization's strategy, processes, information, and information technology assets. The role is to take this knowledge and ensure that the business and IT are in alignment.

Provide leadership role and guidance to solution team in assessing various solution options innovatively and facilitate in recommending most economical solution for the given business problem.
