Solution Consultant

About the Role

Accenture is seeking a highly motivated Route to Market (RTM) Solution Consultant to partner with Sales teams in driving business growth through innovative RTM solutions and services. In this client-facing role, you will combine business consulting, industry knowledge, and solution advisory expertise to help organizations optimize sales, distribution, and go-to-market strategies.

As a trusted advisor, you will engage with business and technology stakeholders, uncover customer challenges, design solution approaches, and demonstrate how Accenture's RTM capabilities can deliver measurable business outcomes. This role offers significant exposure to industry leaders, emerging technologies, and complex business transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales teams to position, present, and demonstrate Accenture Route to Market solutions to prospective customers.

• Conduct discovery workshops and stakeholder discussions to understand customer business challenges, strategic priorities, and operational requirements.

• Deliver engaging, business-focused solution demonstrations tailored to executive, business, and technical audiences.

• Design and maintain customer-specific demonstration environments and presentation materials that showcase real-world business value.

• Facilitate interactive discussions that help customers articulate pain points, identify opportunities, and explore solution-driven outcomes.

• Present solution recommendations, best practices, and future-state business processes to customers across various industries.

• Support RFI/RFP responses by mapping customer requirements to solution capabilities and creating compelling proposal content.

• Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Delivery teams to ensure a seamless transition from pre-sales to implementation.

• Maintain knowledge of market trends, competitor offerings, and industry developments to effectively differentiate Accenture solutions.

• Capture customer feedback and market insights to support continuous improvement of products, services, and go-to-market strategies.

• Represent Accenture at customer meetings, industry events, conferences, and business forums.

• Travel as required to support customer engagements and business development activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 1-2 years of pre-sales experience in a software company, or 5+ years of experience in consulting, solution delivery, business transformation, sales operations, or related functions.

• Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the confidence to engage senior business leaders and technical professionals.

• Experience facilitating workshops, conducting discovery sessions, and translating business requirements into solution recommendations.

• Ability to quickly learn new technologies, business processes, and industry concepts.

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and consultative skills.

• Proven ability to work effectively within cross-functional and collaborative team environments.

• Willingness to travel when required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Manufacturing, Consumer Goods, Technology, Distribution, or related industries.

• Knowledge of Route to Market, Trade Promotion Management, Sales Force Automation, Distribution Management, or related business processes.

• Experience supporting enterprise software implementations, digital transformation initiatives, or business process modernization programs.

• Exposure to RFI/RFP processes, solution architecture discussions, and customer proposal development.

• Familiarity with regulatory or tax considerations related to sales and distribution operations is advantageous.

• Proficiency in Chinese is an advantage as the role may involve supporting customers and stakeholders who communicate primarily in Chinese.
