We are looking for a Solutions Pursuit Manager (Metering) to join our APAC Solutions Business Center team to be based in our office in Shah Alam, Malaysia.

What is the role about

To drive revenue growth by identifying high-value capital projects, crafting compelling solution strategies, and leading cross-functional teams to win business for assigned solutions (metering) covering Asia Pacific Region (including China and India). Focused on delivering tailored, value-added offerings, this role builds strong customer and Sales Center relationships and ensures alignment with the Global Solutions Strategy to maximize sales impact and market share.

Which tasks will you perform

You Will

  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop and execute a solutions business plan that aligns with the Global Solutions Strategy and agreed local targets.
  • Lead the identification and qualification of Solutions project opportunities to growth the Solutions Business within the Solution Business Center Asia Pacific region.
  • Develop and implement active pursuit strategies and tactics to grow and manage the project pipeline and secure new business to reach given targets.
  • Build and drive pursuit teams, facilitating growth in the given business area [metering solutions covering Asia Pacific region].
  • Coordinate with Sales Center teams and Solution Business Center (sales, engineering, proposals) to ensure successful qualified purchase intent leading to customer orders with best fit profit.
  • Utilize Salesforce and Endress+Hauser processes to manage project development and communicate transparently with all internal & external stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic input and guidance and closely collaborate where applicable with Solutions Architects and proposal teams.
  • Provide technical presentations and participate in technical discussions, clarifications with the customer on metering and related solutions.
  • Review and detailed analysis of customer RFQ's and reviewing tenders/customer specification and preparing compliance table. Ability to prepare budgetary quotes and draft metering system architectures.
  • Ensure delivery of complete technical and commercial packages to customers.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of market and market trends, customer challenges, and competitive landscape.
  • Support other functions within Solution Business Center when and where needed.

What do we expect from you

You Have

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in technical sales, project management, or business development in industrial automation or process industries.
  • Proven track record of managing complex sales cycles and capital metering projects.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and project management methodologies
  • Expertise in solution selling, opportunity qualification, and closing complex capital metering projects
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to align solutions with customer needs and business goals.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional pursuit teams and manage the full sales lifecycle.
  • Skilled in business planning, stakeholder coordination, and delivering high-quality proposals.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and customer focus.
  • Deep understanding of industry trends, technical solutions, and competitive positioning.
  • Ability to travel as required.
