Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Special Education Teacher at Axon Children's Centre in Cyberjaya. The role involves designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of each child. Responsibilities include teaching and supporting students with special needs, managing classroom activities, monitoring progress, and collaborating with parents, therapists, and other educators. You will utilize effective teaching strategies to foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment, enabling children to develop essential skills and confidence.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Special Education and knowledge of working with children with disabilities
  • Proven experience and capability in teaching and supporting middle school-aged children
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents, educators, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to creating inclusive learning environments and tailoring education plans to individual needs
  • A degree or certification in Special Education, Education, or a related field
  • Familiarity with diverse teaching methods and compassionate approaches to support children with unique needs
  • Understanding of behavior management strategies and child development principles
