Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Petaling Jaya for a Special Education Teacher. The role involves designing and implementing individualized education plans for children with special needs, focusing on their cognitive, communication, and motor skill development. Key responsibilities include teaching in structured learning settings, engaging students through play-based activities, and providing support to help them transition to mainstream educational environments. The role also requires close collaboration with parents and caregivers to support children's progress and address their unique needs effectively.

Qualifications

  • Experience and knowledge in Special Education and working with children with disabilities.
  • Teaching skills, including planning lessons and delivering educational activities tailored to children's abilities and learning levels.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with children, parents, and team members.
  • Experience in working with middle school or early years students is an advantage.
  • Patience, empathy, and dedication to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Educational qualifications in Special Education, Psychology, or related fields are preferred.
  • Ability to adapt teaching techniques to meet individual needs and foster a nurturing atmosphere for learning.
