About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Specialist, Cloud Infrastructure to design, deploy, migrate, and support enterprise cloud infrastructure solutions for our clients.
This role combines cloud architecture, infrastructure engineering, operations support, disaster recovery, and client-facing technical consultation. The candidate will also act as a Deep Technical Support (DTS) and Tier 3 escalation point to ensure reliable, secure, and high-performing cloud services with minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Cloud Architecture & Infrastructure
- Design secure, scalable, and highly available cloud and hybrid infrastructure solutions
- Develop cloud network architecture including VPCs, subnets, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers
- Support integration between cloud and on-premises infrastructure
- Prepare technical documentation including HLD/LLD, SOPs, runbooks, and implementation guides
2.Cloud Deployment & Administration
- Deploy and manage OpenStack private cloud environments and virtualization platforms such as KVM, Hyper-V, and Proxmox VE
- Configure and optimize virtual machines, storage, and networking environments
- Support provisioning, configuration management, and infrastructure automation activities
3.Cloud Migration
- Plan and execute migration of servers, applications, and workloads from on-premises to cloud environments
- Perform migration assessments, implementation, testing, and post-migration validation
- Ensure minimal downtime and data integrity throughout migration activities
4.Operations, Incident Management & Technical Support
- Act as the Deep Technical Support (DTS) and Tier 3 escalation point for complex cloud infrastructure incidents and operational issues
- Support incident, problem, and change management activities for Cloud Operations
- Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), fault isolation, and service restoration to minimize downtime and ensure service availability
- Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for proactive infrastructure management
- Support patch management, performance tuning, security hardening, capacity planning, and operational optimization
- Provide post-deployment support and continuous infrastructure improvement
5.Backup, Disaster Recovery & Security
- Design and manage enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Support Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) implementation and testing
- Provide guidance on DR strategies, RPO/RTO planning, and recovery procedures
- Ensure infrastructure complies with security best practices and relevant compliance standards
6.Client Engagement & Collaboration
- Work closely with project teams, solution teams, vendors, and clients
- Participate in technical discussions, workshops, and solution presentations
- Provide technical consultation and support throughout project delivery
- Mentor junior engineers and share technical knowledge within the team
Requirements:
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure, with at least 3 years in cloud platforms
Technical Skills
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, and/or OpenStack environments
- Strong experience in cloud migration, virtualization, and hybrid cloud infrastructure
- Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, or Chef
- Good understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, routing, VPCs, and load balancers
- Experience with backup and disaster recovery tools such as Veeam, Commvault, Rubrik, AWS Backup, or Azure Backup
- Strong Linux and Windows Server administration skills
