About The Role
Strategicrole responsible for partnering with business leaders to provide financialinsights, drive performance, and support decision-making. This includesbudgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and identifying opportunities tooptimize profitability and operational efficiency.
What You'll Do
- Actas a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing financial guidance andstrategic insights to support business objectives.
- Leadthe preparation and review of budgets, forecasts, and long-term plans incollaboration with business units.
- Analyzefinancial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendationsto improve profitability and cost efficiency.
- Supportcommercial decision-making through scenario modeling, investment appraisal, andbusiness case development.
- Monitorkey performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Drivefinancial accountability within the business by challenging assumptions andinfluencing decision-making.
- Collaboratewith FP&A and Accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Prepareand deliver presentations to senior management, highlighting financialperformance, risks, and opportunities.
- Supportchange initiatives, process improvements, and implementation of financial bestpractices across the organization.
What You'll Need
- Education:Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field preferred.
- Professionalqualification (CPA, CA, CIMA, ACCA) highly desirable.
CommunicationSkills
- Strongability to influence and build relationships with senior stakeholders.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to presentcomplex financial information in a clear and concise manner. Ability tochallenge and negotiate effectively while maintaining strong partnerships.
FinancialKnowledge
- In-depthunderstanding of financial principles, budgeting, forecasting, and performancemanagement. Strong commercial acumen with experience in business casedevelopment and investment appraisal. Knowledge of GAAP and compliancerequirements.
ReasoningAbility
- Strategicthinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpretcomplex data, identify key drivers, and provide actionable insights.Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and making decisions underpressure.
Other Skillsor Abilities
- Advancedproficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling. Experience withfinancial systems (e.g., TM1, SAP, Power BI) preferred. Strong organizationalskills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Adaptable,proactive, and results-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.
