About the Role
Provide support of the Group and local management reporting including reporting and analysis. Ensure the Group and local management reporting procedures conform to the requirements as well as completed timely, accurately and effectively.
Job Description:
- Responsible to ensure all required management reporting and analysis are provided to Group Office and local business units timely, accurately and in accordance with the Group's reporting procedures
- Support local business units in the management reporting process and perform timely analytical review on the management reports submitted by business units.
- Support the consolidation of Group management reports on daily, monthly or quarterly basis in timely manner with analysis on Group results.
- Ensure information received from the local business units complies with Group standards for both financial and management reporting.
- Support Group Office and local business units on relevant management reporting and analysis matters by providing timely and satisfactory response on all queries to enable business decisions
- Support the development, design, and implementation of new processes, controls and functionally changes to existing systems to improve current processes, controls and overall effectiveness of the team
- Responsible to update Business Process Manuals, Control Checklist and Training Materials as and when new enhancement identified, implemented and communicated, and at least on an annual basis
- Performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet management reporting and/or other requirements.
Job Requirements:
- Degree holder in Accountancy with professional qualification in ACCA or equivalent
- Minimum 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience gained within a multinational environment with regional exposure
- Experience with management and financial reports and analysis
- Experience in a shared services or similar environment providing reporting and analysis services to external/internal stakeholders preferred
- Ability to work in alignment with the Hong Kong working calendar, including supporting business operations during Hong Kong working days when differ from Malaysian public holidays.
- Demonstrates a strong sense of urgency and ability to perform effectively under tight deadlines in a fast-paced reporting environment, supporting senior management and leadership stakeholders.
- Possesses basic analytical skills to review, validate, and identify potential anomalies in reports, ensuring accuracy and reasonableness of the information produced.
- Knowledge of systems e.g. Microsoft Azure/ Power Apps/ Power Bl/ SAP/ BPC preferred
