About the Role
This position is responsible for the Group Corporate Centre (GCC)s cash flow forecasting, Daily Liquidity Adequacy Ratio (LAR), to support day to day treasury operations including involve in Treasury projects namely TAURUS and analytical support function.Responsible to produce the cash forecast for GCC using the SAP Cash Management (SAP CM) system to perform the cash forecast. The key objective is production of a consistent, high quality cash forecast to be used by the GCC entities to minimize cash-on-hand.
Track actual cashflows against forecasted cashflows to understand sources of variability of the cash forecast with the intention to improve the quality and consistency of the cash forecast.
Assist to drive process improvements in SAP CM and cash forecast process. The incumbent will be considered the key business user of the SAP CM and is expected to operationalize SAP CM and overall process to achieve greater effectiveness and efficiency is the cash forecast.
Perform additional Treasury tasks as required (payment initiation, reporting, bank account management, etc.).
To support process documentation (Business Process Manual, Training Materials & etc)
Job Requirements :
University Degree is required (Finance/ Accounting is an asset)
1+ years of experience in finance (Financial Services experience is an asset)
Experience in a Corporate Treasury department or in cash forecasting is an asset
Working level knowledge of SAP is preferred (FAM and CM knowledge is an asset)
Knowledge of SWIFT messages is an asset.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills, experience with standard office software
Experience in Process Documentation will be an asset.
Ability to work under tight deadlines is required
Strong attention to detail and the ability to ensure accuracy is essential
The candidate will be expected to communicate with Group Treasury and therefore excellent English communication skills are required
Must have the desire to actively seek out system and process improvement and challenge the status quo.
Normal working hours and working on Malaysia public holidays will be required.
