Job Purpose
To support the development and delivery of learning programs by designing engaging and effective content, and ensuring a smooth learner experience. This role focuses on implementing learning solutions that meet identified needs while maintaining quality and timeliness.
Key Responsibilities
Curriculum Development & Facilitation
- Partner with internal/external trainer in designing and developing curriculum materials for Business Schools/Academies under CIMB University.
- Coordinate with internal subject matter experts to ensure training materials meet organizational standards.
- Conduct training effectively
Program Support
- Facilitate the delivery of learning programs by ensuring that the programme managers manage logistics, scheduling, and communication with stakeholders.
- Support the implementation of L&D initiatives in Malaysia (and regional whenever required), ensuring smooth execution.
Training Needs Analysis/Performance Consulting
- Conduct basic training needs assessments to support the design of effective learning interventions.
- Collaborate with the Senior Specialist/Unit Head to identify gaps and recommend suitable training interventions.
Vendor Coordination
- Liaise with external training providers to coordinate program delivery and ensure alignment with requirements.
Evaluation and Feedback
- Collect and analyze feedback on learning programs to evaluate effectiveness and recommend improvements.
- Assist in measuring ROI on training initiatives.
Compliance and Administration
- Ensure all learning activities comply with ISO 9001 standards and other regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and assist in preparing periodic reports for management review.
- Undertake any other tasks/training projects organised by Group Human Resource or as delegated by the Head of Department/Superior.
Relevant Work Experience
Minimum of 2-5 years of experience as a trainer / programme designer in any industry / minimum of 5 years of relevant banking background in any financial institution (preferred)
