GSC is looking for a procurement professional to support end-to-end sourcing, tender management, vendor management, and contract negotiations for project-related and strategic procurement activities. This role is responsible for project execution by ensuring value, quality, compliance, and timely delivery while working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end sourcing and tender exercises for project-related procurement in line with procurement policies, governance requirements, and approval processes.
- Plan, source, and negotiate for assigned categories and procurement requirements to achieve optimal value, quality, stable supply, and timely delivery.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies, including vendor identification, evaluation, selection, and contract negotiation to build reliable supplier relationships.
- Prepare and manage RFQs, RFPs, RFIs, tender documents, evaluation criteria, recommendation papers, and approval documents.
- Coordinate tender briefings, clarification sessions, site visits, vendor communications, and cross-functional tender evaluations to ensure fair and transparent assessments.
- Analyse quotations and proposals, conduct commercial evaluations, negotiate pricing and contractual terms, and recommend award decisions based on cost, quality, technical compliance, and delivery capability.
- Manage the full procurement lifecycle, including contract management, supplier performance evaluation, risk mitigation, issue resolution, and procurement reporting.
- Maintain complete procurement records, tender documentation, audit trails, spend and savings analysis, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or equivalent; professional procurement certification such as CIPS is an added advantage.
- Proven hands-on experience in sourcing, category management, tendering, and negotiation. Experience in premium dining, hospitality, retail, luxury brands, food service, hotels, airline catering will be highly advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of supplier management, procurement governance, food safety, quality assurance, compliance, and commercial evaluation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, procurement platforms, and inventory management systems is an added advantage.
