Ansell is looking for a Specialist, Regional Planner to join our team in Cyberjaya!

In this position you will be responsible for supporting effective demand, supply, and inventory

planning across the assigned subregion(s) and/or portfolio within the Sales, Operations and

Execution (S&OE) planning horizon. This role partners closely with Regional Planning, Global

BU Planning, Commercial, Customer Experiences, and other cross-functional stakeholders to

identify supply risks, manage customer backorder exposure, and support timely issue resolution

through the S&OE process.

He/she will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance planning

effectiveness, process discipline, and operational efficiency. In addition, the role will serve as a

regional coordination point for APAC planning-related projects, working closely with the PLAN

CoE team, project PMO, and regional functional teams to ensure timely follow-up and execution.

What your role will be

  • Monitor and manage demand and supply imbalances, including Customer Backorder (CBO) risks, in collaboration with Global BU Planners through the Demand and Supply S&OE process.
  • Optimize regional inventory levels to support service performance, cost efficiency, and budget objectives. Initiate and execute intra-region / inter-region stock transfer plans as needed to mitigate supply constraints or CBO risks, follow up end to end stock transfer process with cross functional teams.
  • Coordinate expedited supply solutions, including air freight or courier shipments to regional warehouses, where required to address backorder situations while maintaining strong cost control.
  • Provide proactive communication to cross-functional stakeholders on product shortages, availability risks, root causes, corrective actions, and recovery plans. Use CBO and inventory health reports to anticipate potential supply constraints and support early intervention.
  • Support effective excess and obsolete (E&O) inventory management by preventing new excess, driving depletion actions for existing E&O inventory, and initiating write-off tickets for approved inventory scrap where applicable.
  • Serve as the regional coordination point for APAC planning-related projects, including but not limited to data analysis, information gathering, progress tracking, stakeholder follow-up, and coordination with relevant regional functional teams.
  • Support continuous improvement of planning processes, tools, and ways of working in close collaboration with Regional Planning Leadership and the PLAN CoE team.
  • Perform other duties and special assignments as required by Regional Planning Leadership.

What will you bring to Ansell

  • Bachelor's degree in a supply chain, engineering or business-related field
  • Experience in Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Supply Planning or a related planning function, preferably within a global matrix organization.
  • Experience managing end-to-end supply chain or planning activities within a regional or subregional scope is preferred.
  • Project coordination or project management experience is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Results-oriented, with strong ownership and a focus on delivering measurable business outcomes.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or D365.
  • Strong business partnering capability, with the ability to communicate effectively, influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills; spoken Mandarin proficiency is

preferred.
